WDO INSPECTIONS

WDO Inspections

Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) inspections check your homes for any infestations or damages made by termites, beetles, or fungi. If you are buying a house and want to check the walls, our WDO inspectors can help you find these pests. Unlike other companies, we do not charge for WDO inspections as this is part of our basic home inspection service.

Infrared Thermography

Infrared thermography identifies hot spots caused by defects in electrical connections, wirings, and components. Once we find those spots, we fix them before a component fails. Whenever you experience system overloads or have damaged switchgears in your commercial establishment or industrial plant, call us for a thorough inspection.

Wind Mitigation Inspection

What is wind mitigation, it is an action taken on the exterior envelope of a structure to protect it from high wind events, including thunderstorms, straight-line winds, and hurricanes. It is highly recommended that Florida homeowners, especially those living in more hurricane-prone regions, consider investing in wind mitigation features. Furthermore, homeowners can receive substantial credits from their insurance for outfitting their homes with windstorm mitigation features that withstand or are more resistant to high winds.

Four-Point Inspections

Once a home gets to a certain age, many insurance carriers would like to take a peek at the four main sources of insurance claims: the roof, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. M2 Home Inspections provides all types of inspections in Punta Gorda, Florida, that identify safety concerns, threats, and property code violations.
